Rescuer’s Relief, Inc. began as an idea during a rough patch Lisa Watson was having.  Years of operating Wind & Willows Ferret Rescue in Fallon, Nevada combined with working a full-time government job had taken a toll on her health.  After months of dealing with serious, life-threatening health issues  brought on by stress and never being able to take a vacation, Lisa made the difficult decision to close her rescue.

But she soon realized there had to be other rescuers who, like her, found it difficult to balance their passion for saving the lives of ferrets with their health and family life.  Thus, the spark that became Rescuer’s Relief, Inc. was started.
