On this holiday edition of Cooking For Your Pets, Pet World Insider’s resident Pet Chef, Robert Semrow, shows you a fun and creative holiday recipe for those special pups in your life – Healthy Pumpkin treats for your dog! The pet recipe is simple and has a few healthy twists. These Howl-oween treats are sure to be enjoyed by all of your four legged trick or treaters.
Healthy Pumpkin Treat Ingredients:
2 1/2 Cups – Brown Rice Flour ( or flour of your choice)
1 1/2 Cups – 100% Pure Pumpkin Puree
2 Eggs
1/4 cup. Ground Chia Seed
1/4 cup. Chopped Parsley
Directions
1. Combine ingredients into bowl and mix well.
2. Cut out treats with favorite cookie cutter
3. Cook them for between 8 – 12 minutes (depending on size of treat and how hard you want them to be).
