Stand Up For Pits Comedy Event in Los Angeles
Pet World Insider and this lucky lady had the pleasure of attending the Stand Up for Pits comedy night in Los Angeles on November 4, 2013 with hosts Rebecca Corry and Kaley Cuoco. The event included a star-studded red carpet, silent auction, pit bull kissing booth, musical performance by Watkins Family Hour and comedy performances by Whitney Cummings, Rebecca Corry and Bill Burr.
Pet World Insider was in attendance as a media representative of the pet world and, I have to say, it was such a blast! I had so much fun hanging out on the red carpet filming along with Producer Derek while Robert Semrow interviewed celebrities like Rebecca Corry, Kaley Cuoco, Moby, Whitney Cummings, Cheri Oteri, Gordon Shell, Moon Zappa and Josh Reyes with dog Sonny Ray, of course. There really is nothing better than having fun while supporting a truly important cause.
The Stand Up for Pits Foundation is an amazing charity organization whose aim is to not only put a stop to breed specific legislation, but also raise awareness for the abuse and discrimination that the pit bull breed endures. “Pit Bull Terriers are gentle, loving and loyal and they need our help now, more than ever before. With educational programs and adequate funding we can end the senseless abuse and create safe and humane communities for humans and pets. Stand Up For Pits believes it is our obligation to respect and protect the dogs we share this planet with.”
