BlogPaws is definitely something to Woof about and everyone Meowed at the variety of things going on for these passionate pet parents…..Alright, no more bad puns….Just some highlights….
This was our first trip to a BlogPaws Conference and let me assure you it will not be our last. The passionate pet parents, bloggers, industry experts and everyone in attendance made this event something to remember, as well as a must attend. BlogPaws is a company that has brought together pet centric bloggers to help empower and spread the pet centric messaging they do. This conference brings together experts from a wide variety of areas and expertise.
One of the really fun things that we experienced, was meeting the pets behind these blogs and/or the inspirations for these blogs. We met dogs, cats, ferrets, capybara and other pets….That’s right folks – We got to hang with a Capybara – cross that one of our bucket list….
One of the more impressive things was how well all these different pets got along. Many times these wonderful pets were right there with their pet parents int he seminars and attending the events. I don’t want say that this was a long event, but at one point, I swear the Capybara and I had a philosophical discussion about the future of the blogosphere and Global Climate Change…. Capybaras are much smarter than I would’ve thought.
While were there we met so many wonderful people, knowledge experts and passionate pet world participants. It was exciting and rewarding to get to sit down and interview many of them, so be watching and listening as we roll out dozens of video and radio interviews over the next few weeks.
Alright, so what were some of the favorite memories we have from BlogPaws 2014? We’re glad you asked…In no particular order:
* Almost Killing Steve Dale – Steve Dale is a Chicago guy like me, so I’m sure he figured we might go Chicagoland on him….We didn’t have to. He almost took himself out by sitting down, then falling out of the director chairs we had set up for the interview. We thought he was faking it, until we remembered that he’s a radio guy….Just kidding Steve, thanks again for hanging with us. Don’t forget to follow all the great things Steve is doing.
* Sandy Robins asking us to help her find Tail in Las Vegas so she could film it is something I will never forget…Even better, we found it for her…She needed to film that tail – Golden Retriever – This is a PG post folks…LOL – Check out all the wonderful things Sandy is up to, including her video from BlogPaws that will feature the Golden Retriever tail she was searching for.
* Hanging out with a Capybara after playing with a ferret, watching Tillman skateboard and meeting other fancy and friendly pets.
* Interviewing a Stuffy………..OK, that is a new one for me and you all know that I love the fun stuff…That’s right, I interview stuffed animals, cardboard cut-outs and occasionally human beings. Stuffies are stuffed animals that blog, often because their owners don’t have a living pet at the moment. The cardboard cutouts were there to represent the real pets who could not make the trip.
* Meeting Rose Hamilton and the entire Pet360.com team. We love Pet360.com and the entire family of Pet360 companies including Pet360, BlogPaws, PetMD, Only Natural Pet and other great pet centric brands.
There are many more highlights, as this was a truly memorable and rewarding experience. If you are a blogger, or thinking of becoming a blogger, you should attend this event, you will be energized and inspired. We hope to see you there in Nashville for the 2015 BlogPaws Conference!
