Harrison’s over 25 year career as a dog trainer and animal behaviorist has propelled him into the spotlight as a highly sought after pet expert for national news stories, best selling author, and a popular radio/TV host. Having been involved in the training and importing of over 700 police service dogs, Harrison has also been called upon to train dogs for films in Hollywood, including Francis Ford Coppola’s film “The Rainmaker”.
This illustrious and extensive career in dog training has made Forbes the “go-to” guy for national pet stories. He appeared on “Larry King Live” discussing the Michael Vick cast, is a regular pet expert on multiple national TV shows, including Fox News Network, CNN, CBS Morning Show, The Today Show, Katie, The View, The Weather Channel, and more. He has contributed to PEOPLE Pets, Family Circle, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, and USA Today, among other publications, and is the bestselling author of the book “Dog Talk”.
Harrison has served as spokesperson for many national pet campaigns for brands such as Toyota, Progressive Insurance, MARS, Natural Balance, Inc, Pet Armor Plus, and rent.com.
He regularly emcees pet events around the country for crowds of up to 300,000, most recently, Amazing Pet Expos.
